Jérôme Boateng, the Bayern Munich defender, has signed with Roc Nation Sports. That means his manager is Jay Z and he’s the first footballer under the Roc Nation banner. This is not your grandfather’s Bundesliga. Next up on the itinerary for advancing Boateng’s global brand is surely an editorial position at The Players Tribune and a loan to the New York Red Bulls in 2028.
