Is Stephen Curry better than LeBron James? This is an actual question actually being posed by ESPN. This also happens to be a “debate” that would require approximately zero statistical analysis. If you’re capable of putting on your own pants in the morning to a successful enough degree that you don’t end up looking like Ed Grimley, you’re well aware that LeBron James is the best basketball player on the planet, and it’s not close.
But we’re in an era now where we must embrace any and all debate, and posing such questions and leading with such headlines are done so to incite reaction, like this one right here. So I suppose I’m the blithering horse’s ass.
Nonetheless, it makes for a beautifully stupid headline.
