Fox News Direly Suggests Congress May Cancel Super Bowl [UPDATE]

Ryan Glasspiegel

Fox and Friends teased a bombshell story this morning about the possibility of Congress canceling the Super Bowl, and boy did they deliver. Apparently there’s a soon-to-be-expiring act in which the government helps providers cover terrorism insurance policies, and if that act was allowed to go away, then the game would supposedly be in jeopardy. For some reason they showed Eli Manning and the Giants practicing in the background, even though there is even less of a chance of all this affecting the G-men than the .00000000001% odds the Super Bowl XLIX does not go down because of this law.
