Deonte Burton Dunk Against Boise State is the Facial of the Year
By Jason McIntyre

Deonte Burton, a dunk-happy 6-foot-1 guard on Nevada with ridiculous hops, detonated on Boise State’s Ryan Watkins Wednesday night and is the new leader for Best Dunk of the 2013-2014 College Basketball Season.
Burton, who could get taken in the 2nd round of the NBA draft this summer, fearlessly attacked the 6-foot-9 Watkins by cocking the ball back and then dunking violently. The Nevada bench exploded. The Wolfpack won in double overtime, 83-81. It should be noted that Watkins had an excellent game – 27 points, 14 rebounds – but all anyone will remember is that he got served.
The loss may have knocked Boise State off the NCAA tournament bubble. The Broncos have a lot of work to do next week – and will need some help – to steal a bid. Burton scored 25 points, had eight assists and six rebounds in the loss.
