Chris Connelly Replaces Bill Simmons as Grantland's Interim Editor-in-Chief

Excited to be joining @grantland33 as interim editor-in-chief. Hoping to continue the great work of Bill Simmons and this superb staff.

Chris Connelly is the new Editor-in-Chief and Grantland, replacing Bill Simmons. This move should be met with a chorus of “OK, sure. I guess that makes sense.”
Connelly has previously appeared on Grantland as a semi-frequent podcast guest and has been with ESPN and ABC in various capacities for more than a decade.
With lots of experience at MTV and Rolling Stone, he’ll bring the pop culture eye that Grantland needs, presumably at a discounted rate to that of The Sports Guy.
Now we wait to see what happens with Simmons and how committed ESPN is to making a Sports Guy-less Grantland work. Will Connelly take over the B.S. Report? Bill Don’t Lie? The Grantland Basketball Hour? And why the “interim” title? Will Grantland ever run with a non-celebrity editor? Can I fit one more question at the end of this post?
