Chris Broussard Goes After Bomani Jones in ESPN on ESPN Chastity Debate

ESPN doesn’t like when its on-air talent publicly feuds. We’ve seen suspensions handed out before, and we’ll see what happens with Chris Broussard, who felt compelled to respond following yesterday’s revelation of Russell Wilson on abstinence with Ciara.

Bomani Jones took on the topic on today’s Highly Questionable with Dan LeBatard.

That prompted this.

"(1 of 2) @bomani_jones on @HQonESPN regarding Russell/Ciara u implied people trying 2 do it Jesus' way by waiting till marriage r stupid."

— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Brou

"(2 of 3) @bomani_jones u owe all Bible-believing Christians trying to live as Russell/Ciara are an apology"

— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Brou

"@bomani_jones #Intolerance #doublestandard"

— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Brou

and there are about 20 other comments between the two on Twitter as conflicts have arisen. I like how Broussard starts with 1 of 2, then moves to 2 of 3. He’s on about 19 of 20 now.

I’ll just leave with this. From a personal perspective, something about Russell Wilson on these personal decisions and the cheesy grin grates and feels insincere, set aside your underlying views on this topic. I would prefer he not be so publicly pious on this topic when recently divorced (something which is also mentioned and proscribed in the Bible.)
