Chargers CB Jason Verrett Throws Dismal First Pitch at Padres Game

There are some very legitimate explanations (if not excuses) for awful first pitches — i.e. 50 Cent had a record to promote — but it’s hard to figure Chargers first round pick Jason Verrett had any ulterior motive. His pitch traveled about five feet before rolling to the plate. On his Instagram, he playfully placed the blame on a bum shoulder.
