Armless Egyptian is Probably Way Better at Ping Pong Than You Are

Ibrahim Hamato is a ping pong player from Egypt. As you can see in the video above, he plays the game with the paddle in his mouth after he lost his hands in an accident at the age of 10. Notice how Hamato plays wearing one shoe, in order to use his toes to serve.

The International Table Tennis Federation invited Hamato to its World Team Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo this month, where he played against some of the world’s best. Maybe everyone is super jaded these days, but his quote about,  “nothing is impossible if you work hard” is a nice, non-cynical thought for a change.
