Pat McAfee isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and the same can be said of his music. The College GameDay star is now catching flak about his singing from legendary daredevil Johnny Knoxville.

The former MTV star is appropriately in Knoxville for Saturday’s Tennessee-Texas college football game. And he stopped by the ESPN set as this week’s celebrity guest picker.

During his hilarious appearance, the Jackass performer was quick to mock McAfee over his controversial musical album. The panel was discussing the Week 4 Missouri-Mississippi State game when he claimed if the Tigers lost, he’d subject himself to the former NFL punter’s songs.

“I’m so sure about this game that if Missouri loses, I will punish myself by listening to Pat McAfee’s new album on repeat until Halloween,” Knoxville joked with the GameDay crew.

The 55-year-old Knoxville made sure to pick his Tennessee football team to take down Arch Manning and Texas on Saturday. However, social media cannot stop talking about his hilarious jab.

McAfee received mixed reviews in August when he dropped his first-ever album, Diary of a Polarizing Figure. The former punter has been involved in many different projects since retiring from the Indianapolis Colts in 2016.

McAfee became a regular at WWE events as a commentator and occasional in-ring performer. Meanwhile, his sports media career has skyrocketed at ESPN after appearing on many football-centric offerings.

His eponymous daily program, The Pat McAfee Show, has also become a staple of the network. The shows air from noon to 3 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
