Philadelphia kept its season alive with a dramatic 4-3 victory in 10 innings in Game 2. Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper hit back-to-back home runs in the eighth inning to erase a 3-1 deficit before Alec Bohm delivered the game-winning solo homer in the 10th. Andrew Painter then finished off three scoreless innings of relief as the Phillies evened the series.
Atlanta now gets one more opportunity at Truist Park after letting a late lead slip away Wednesday. The Braves could lean heavily on Grant Holmes for innings, while Philadelphia has Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler and Jesús Luzardo among its available pitching options. Game 3 is set for 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, with the winner moving on and the loser’s season coming to an end.
