Achane went down during Miami’s opening drive after taking a handoff for an 11-yard gain. He appeared to have trouble getting up after the play.
The Dolphins running back was evaluated by the medical staff before slowly making his way toward the locker room. Miami then announced that Achane was questionable to return with a knee injury.
Before leaving the game, Achane recorded three carries for 18 yards. His exit also creates a bigger problem for Miami because Jaylen Wright was already inactive with a stinger and foot injury.

Achane’s injury came at a difficult time for the Dolphins. Miami entered Week 3 at 0-2 and was already dealing with a depleted backfield.
With Wright unavailable, Ollie Gordon II was expected to see more work behind Achane. His role could become even more important if Achane cannot return.

For now, the Dolphins have not announced a more specific diagnosis or confirmed how long Achane could be sidelined.
That makes the next update important for Miami. Achane has been a major part of the offense, and losing him would force the Dolphins to adjust their plans against Kansas City’s defense.
The Dolphins will continue to monitor Achane’s condition as the game progresses. Any further update from the team should provide a clearer picture of his status.
