CBS Sports star Kate Scott lands major UFC role

The UFC will start a new era this month. The biggest MMA company in the world agreed to a seven-year, $7.7 billion deal with Paramount+, which will broadcast every event, including the numbered, starting on Jan. 24 with UFC 324: Gaethje vs. Pimblett at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The events have moved from ESPN+, and changes will be made in this new era. One of the most prominent includes a familiar name leading the UFC studio coverage. Kate Scott will make her UFC broadcast debut in this event. She will host the broadcast and post-fight show, per MMA Junkie.

Additionally, Scott will have UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping and former champions Dominick Cruz and Chris Weidman by her side.

The cageside commentators will be familiar faces: Jon Anik will lead the crew at UFC 324, with former two-division champion Daniel Cormier and legendary commentator Joe Rogan accompanying him. Din Thomas will take the role of coach-analyst during the broadcast.

Kate Scott has become one of the most famous hosts in the world thanks to her coverage of association football. She is widely known as the host of CBS Sports’ “Golazo,” a show that covers the UEFA Champions League.

Scott has starred in multiple viral clips where she roasts her co-hosts, former footballers Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards.

Outside of that, she has served as a boxing host for Netflix, Showtime, DAZN, and Fox Sports. Kate Scott married former professional boxer Malik Scott in 2024, which should add more to her knowledge of combat sports.
