Umpire Takes Foul Ball to the Cup, Vin Scully Imagines How His Voice Might Sound

With the Dodgers down five runs to the Angels in the 8th inning on Monday night, Vin Scully had to keep himself and the fans amused. So when Adrian Gonzalez fouled a ball off umpire Manny Gonzalez’s cup, Scully imagined a very short conversation between the umpire and catcher Hank Conger. It was short, but it did include a high pitch voice.
