Jason Dufner, who at times offers the enthusiasm of an unimpressed Spaulding Smails, has won the 2013 PGA Championship. The tubby fellow finished at 10 under par. Dufner set the course record at Oak Hill on Friday, shooting a 63, so it only feels right to watch him take home the victory. Following his putt on 18, he hugged his wife and gave her a couple healthy taps on the buttocks. Difficult not to adore this guy.

The win marks Dufner’s first major victory of his career. The closest he came to winning one prior to this had been at the PGA Championship in 2011, where he lost in a playoff to Keegan Bradley. Jim Furyk, the subject of many, many, many TBL comments, finished second at 8 under after shooting one over par for the day.

UPDATE: Here’s the aforementioned patting of the buttocks
