Aaron Hicks has had a rough rookie campaign in center for the Minnesota Twins, as he’s hitting a paltry .196 for the season. Friday night against the Yankees Hicks probably made the throw of the season to nail Vernon Wells trying to turn a double into a triple. What made the throw all the more impressive was he got it to third baseman Trevor Plouffe on the fly and beat Wells by a couple feet.

Also impressive? Hicks was standing — rough guess — on the Cross Bronx Expressway when he picked up the ball.

As nice as the throw was, the Twins still lost 2-0 to drop their sixth straight game.
