Twins are Screening 'The Sandlot' at Target Field Today; Squints and Ham Showed Up, Too

Looks like we’re in full-on nostalgia mode for the “The Sandlot.” A couple weeks ago the actress who played Wendy Peffercorn popped up on “Mad Men.” This afternoon the Minnesota Twins will screen the 1993 film after their game with the Red Sox ends at Target Field.
As part of the screening the actors who played Squints (Chauncey Leopardi) and Ham (Patrick Renna) have been spotted hanging around the diamond the last couple days.
Even though it was a kid’s movie released 20 years ago, “The Sandlot” does hold up pretty well.
Remember, “Heroes get remembered but legends never die.”
