Prince Harry is touring America, surprising Olympians, kissing babies and generally participating in American sports things. On Tuesday he was in New York to play baseball with Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and the Harlem RBI organization. Texeira threw some pitches to Harry on a diamond small enough to appear on a rerun of Perfect Strangers and the BBC broke down the footage for their viewers.

So simple. Baseball is “like cricket for Americans.” In cities like New York, baseball is “the biggest sport in town” and the Yankees are Manchester United. I also love how the anchor seems upset that Mark Teixeira is offering “coaching” to Harry.
