Evan Gattis of the Atlanta Braves had an interesting life before arriving at Spring Training in 2012 – he was a lift operator, worked at a pizza joint, and as a janitor, and also spent time in rehab. After a solid 2012 in the minors, Gattis made this year’s roster, and got his first at-bat this week. Amazingly, Gattis stepped to the plate while his parents were being interviewed in the stands. Then, Gattis hit a home run.
