Man Jumps Out of the Way of Home Run Ball in Arizona, His Girlfriend/Wife/Sister Gets Hit in the Face

Pete Kozma of the St. Louis Cardinals hit his 3rd career home run Tuesday during the Cardinals’ 6-1 win over the Diamondbacks, but the real story is what happened to the ball after it cleared the fence. A man and a woman were sitting at a table, apparently enjoying a cold beverage. As the ball comes directly at them, you can see the man jump out of the way and let his girlfriend/wife/sister get drilled in the face. Odds are the ride home – or to the hospital? – was tense.
