Marv Albert & Steve Kerr Talking About Marshall Henderson During the Ole Miss Win Over Wisconsin Was Great Television
Marshall Henderson started the afternoon 1-for-11, but found his stroke in the second half, scoring 17 points after halftime and propelling 12th seeded Mississippi to an upset of 5th seeded Wisconsin, 57-46. Ole Miss went on a 25-10 run over the last 11 minutes – triggered by a Henderson triple – and the Badgers were booted from the dance following an embarrassing 25 percent shooting performance.
Henderson was a disaster in the first half, forcing shots all over the place, but Wisconsin kept turning the ball over (12 vs. 10 assists) and missing shots at an alarming rate. The Badgers missed 23 of 30 three-point attempts. Wisconsin starters Traevon Jackson, Jared Berggren, Ben Brust and Ryan Evans were a combined 8-for-37 shooting. Jackson, the son of Ohio State great Jim Jackson, was particularly terrible. Berggren might have had three airballs. Evans forgot how excellent he played on the block in the Big Ten tournament, and was a massive non-factor.

Those comments were hilarious. The one where Marv said he bets Reggie Miller is thrilled to be compared to this dipshit was awesome.

Thank god Wisky is out. Watching them stuggle to put up 40 points in the title game would have been hilarious, though.

A guy at my office filled his bracket out in 40 seconds. Had LaSalle, Harvard and Ole Miss winning. Has Ole Miss in the Elite 8.

Dude had been studying all year for it, had his bracket memorized.

Yesterday I did well. Today is starting to look like a disaster. At least all my Final Four teams are still alive. For now…

Nada, I gave you another recommendation at the end of the Charles Barkley thread. I can’t remember if we’ve already talked about that movie, though.

The SEC was really down this year… there were a lot of really bad teams – South Caroline, MSU (my alma mater), Auburn. Arky was down, UK (sans Noel of course) and UT lost in the first round of the NIT. UF and UM might do well in the tourney, but top to bottom the SEC was bad this year.

There’s so much stupid in this comment that it may have well been said on one of the ESPN shows you watch to help raise your blood pressure
