D.J. Stephens of Memphis Threw Down a Huge Alley-Oop & He Can Also Kiss the Rim [Video]
D.J. Stephens is a 6-foot-5 pogo stick for Memphis who leads the Tigers in rebounds and blocks. Here he is going up high for an alley-oop against St. Mary’s, a dunk that had Raftery and Verne screaming. After the dunk, CBS showed Stephens kissing the rim. Below is video of Stephens kissing the rim because he really can jump quite high.
Stephens had six points and four blocks at the half.

Supposedly a 41-inch vertical. You will believe a man can fly…

“Kissing the rim” brings to mind “rim job,” and you don’t want to picture that in your mind.

If Brad Stevens coached that Memphis team they would win the National Title.

Big East representin’ as usual.

I don’t care if all the Big East teams other than syracuse lose. Conference pride only matters to SEC football fans.

Nice to see St. Louis role. Had them at -9.5 today.

Saint Louis is such a damn good team. only two conference losses were to Xavier and Rhode Island. Beat VCU and Butler every time. Beat a good New Mexico team, lost to Kansas when the Jayhawks were hot early in the season. No surprise if they make the elite 8.

I think most people who aren’t picking Gonzaga to go far didn’t watch Gonzaga this year more than 1 game.

Funny, I have them going far after watching them a few times late night and all day long today all I heard from every analyst on t.v. is that they have to prove themselves. Chuck is talking about them now.

Probably accurate. I have them out the second round and only saw the Butler game.

Memphis will find a way to fuck this up if anybody other than Joe Jackson is shooting free throws down the stretch.

Come on ST Mary’s! Have to hit free throws and stay in this.

Gonzaga is one of the more balanced teams in the tourney. Solid guards, two athletic big men that play in the post. Beat 5 big 12 teams (including 3 tourney teams). Butler loss was on a fluke buzzer beater. Thats the last time they lost.
