Beau Levesque was a 47% three point shooter entering today’s game (46 of 98). You wouldn’t know it by what he happened in the second half on consecutive shots, as St. Mary’s tries to come back against Memphis. Amazingly, St. Mary’s is within 7 points in a game where Memphis has been blocking shots, getting high flying dunks, and benefitting from open air balls.

And no, this is not a repeat. At least the first caught the bottom of the net.

Damn it. Was hoping Gaels pulled it out. If a team keeps it close on Memphis you have a chance with the way they turn it over and shoot free throws. They have no chance against Mich St.

Memphis can beat anybody in this tournament if things fall right. They are poorly coached but in a single head to head game if you think they have no chance at all you are clueless.

I’m a stubborn diehard. I’m gonna root for ‘em regardless. It would crack me up, however, if they played the game of their lives and snuck away with a win over MSU. After all, it is college, right?
