A Clothlesline, a Court Storming and an NIT Upset: Robert Morris Beats Kentucky
Kentucky went from National Champions to out in the first round of the NIT. The underachieving Wildcats, who couldn’t host an NIT game because the NCAA Tournament is using Rupp Arena, lost to Robert Morris 59-57 in one of those strange results that people will be talking about for a few years.
Kentucky fell behind 9-0 and the game had the feel of the Alabama-Utah college football BCS tilt from 2009. Only one team wanted to be on the field that night, and in this game, Kentucky looked listless and uninterested.
In a scary moment, Lucky Jones of Robert Morris attempted to decapitate Kentucky guard Archie Goodwin on a fast break. Jones was ejected.

UK post game call in show was a case study in insane, possibly sub-human “people”.
That foul on Goodwin almost makes me wish UK would have won. Bush league crap.

Going to be interesting to see what happens to their current Freshmen. Other than Noel, none of them are ready to make the jump to the NBA but this next class is much better and could seriously impact their PT next season if they stay.

Coach K would not approve of this court storming nonsense.

A phrase I’ll never say, ever. F Calapari that cheat.

Really? It was a little dangerous, but he was swinging for the ball. I’m wondering why they ejected him. Were there other events between these teams earlier in the game that justified the ejection?

Almost hard to believe a lot of people don’t think Calapari is a good coach, just a great recruiter.

You left out the critical word in my sentence. Almost.

As Breesus said … no. It’s the NIT.

lol @ going for the block. He didn’t even attempt to jump.

It just means Kentucky will have a team next year that will be running 10-12 deep that includes a group of sophomores who have something to prove.

LOL. Calipari doesn’t run a rotation like that.

If anything those kids are better off leaving now or they’ll end up glued to the bench.

I can see Goodwin coming back, but the other 3 are gone.
