Adrien Broner Arrested, Charged With Battery After Alleged Fight at Miami Nightclub
Adrien Broner, boxing’s undefeated (26-0) WBC lightweight champion, was arrested on Monday night in Miami on battery charges. Boxing Scene confirmed the arrest, though Broner is no longer listed as in custody. The incident that allegedly landed Broner in police custody was a altercation at LIV, a Miami nightclub. Broner posted a picture of himself and NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game participant Trey Songz on Twitter. He also tweeted his mugshot (picture since taken down) with a comment.

This is nothing but good PR for Broner. Nobody outside of boxing fans know who he is. Beating up a bouncer is harmless enough and he gets free press to get his name out there.

FROM OUR NETWORK:
No, Erian Andrews Has Not Left ESPN.
What is the point of that if the news is months old and incorrect?

Same place where Lebron’s crazy mama slapped that valet and told him to “Take a boat and go back to your country.” Sounds like the place to be.

Same place where Duffy and Stephen got into a shoving match with Shawn Bradley’s entourage.

145 lbs? Jeez. And would destroy many dudes. No coop

He’s like a chess player. In the 4th round, he knows he’s going to end the fight in the 6th, so he starts messing with dudes, then TKO’s them.

Speaking of shoving matches with tall white guys. That reminds me of the time in college when Travis Knight accused me of “trumping his boy” and we got in a shoving match. Would have been a hilarious fight. 5″10″ Career High and 7 ft Travis Knight going at it. I’d prob have to use his balls as a speed bag.

March 19th, 2013 at 10:36 AM
just saw your comment ritty. i enjoyed it greatly. i couldnt believe it every time bradley chose to trade blows, esp after his moving and body shots was so effective

From the fights I’ve seen of his, he is poised to be an elite level fighter if he isn’t already. His comp would be the best from that era. Whether he would beat them is a debate for down the road but the DLH’s and Pernell’s of the world.

This must be one of the funniest sights ever.
