Minor League Hockey Game Ends With Bench-Filling Brawl [Video]
The Rockford Ice Hogs and the Chicago Wolves got into a rare brawl inside the benches Sunday night. With just 4-seconds reaming, a player was checked into the door that opens to the bench. From there, punches were thrown from every angle and 27 total penalties were called. This is the second time this year that we have seen a crazy brawl involving the Rockford Ice Hogs – in January they were involved in a bench-clearing brawl while wearing pink sweaters. Penguins currently only five points back of Chicago for the President’s Trophy and only three games away from breaking Chicago’s NHL SAVING WINSTREAK from earlier in the season.

i don’t think you’ll find too many hawks fans who think the streak means anything about what really matters, the postseason. especially since there’s no cross-conference play

Good to see Jim Vandermeer still displaying more heart than brains by challenging the entire Rockford team by walking onto their bench.
