Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader Falls and Hits Head During Dance Routine [Video]
Before the start of the fourth quarter in Atlanta, a Hawks cheerleader slipped and fell during a dance routine, smacking her head hard on the floor. She was eventually wheeled off the court fully immobilized. Hopefully that was just a precautionary measure and she’s not seriously hurt.

Meh. The only way to save “face” was to stay down and feign injury.
Good job. Good effort.

Forehead looked like it slammed against floor pretty damn hard.

If cheerleading went away, would anyone on this planet care or even notice?
I also love how the dancers on each side of her completely ignored her.

I was there. Any time a group of people are performing/dancing whatever, and someone falls, they always continue until the end.

The word is that she will be okay … maybe concussed. Wish er well.
The more embarrassing pratfall was taken by the Hawks … giving up nearly 70 in the first half and losing to the Mavs. It’s inevitable, but the pattern repeats: the Hawks win a game or two and they start chirping about playing hard, good effort, moving up in seeding, yadda yadda (and their TV slurper Rathbun parrots all of it) and then they take a crap on the Highlight Factory floor like last night (before a 3/4 empty building.)
