Cedric Botter’s rocket split in half upon impact with the left post. Part of it trickled into the net, part of it was swatted away by goaltender Reto Berra. Fribourg-Gottéron was not awarded a goal but routed EHC Biel, 6-1, and a huge controversy was thankfully avoided.
