And yes, these are my projections of what I think the committee will do. Minnesota is in based on the criteria. High RPI in highly rated conference, Lots of wins against Top 50 and Top 100 opponents, no really bad losses. I got in the same debate about Michigan State a few years ago, when they played a tough schedule and lots of losses near end of the season. The order of the wins and losses will not matter much (and, for what it’s worth, isn’t necessarily that predictive of tournament play once we account for seeding).

Minnesota is ranked 24 in Kenpom with an OOC rank of 83. Arkansas is ranked 74 with an OCC rank of 282. They have exactly ONE road win the enitre year and that was at last-place Auburn. Unless you’re an Arkansas fan, their resumes aren’t close.
