Poor kid. All he wanted to do was make an awesome trick shot and put it on the Internet. Instead, the ball took a bad bounce and nailed him in the face from point blank range. The only thing missing from this video is Nelson Muntz.

Luckily things didn’t go viral when I was younger. It took many, many nut shots for me to learn how to dribble a basketball the correct way.

my position on margin of victory is that since each opponent is different — talent, plays, schemes, etc. — how bad you beat teams matter not against the next one, and especially if it’s a good team.
so much is different against good teams, physically and especially emotionally, with pride/standings/titles on the line
big margins of victory matter more against good teams than bad ones if they matter at all

Hang in there. I searched for jobs constantly in 2011 with frankly impeccable credentials and got nowhere for a year (I had an excellent job at the time but hated it).
FINALLY, an opportunity with Roche Diagnostics fell in my lap. 6 figures plus bonus. Of course I promptly blew that less than a year later with my issues. The things I have pissed away are truly mind boggling.
I dont know where you live but if you move south there are still plenty of jobs here. Nashville is booming.

Yeah, doing OK. Sweating like you cant imagine. There is a passage in the Bible where Christ is praying to avoid the being crucified he is sweating as if “drops of blood”. In no way being sacreligious but thats what its like.
Its my fifth detox since last May so I kind of know what to expect. But it gets way worse each attempt.
But, I am on day three and as far as I can tell I didnt post anything racist or over the top. This forum is very helpful as it keeps me distracted.

A.P. those trials were shown on live TV in Knoxville. I am telling you hearing the details from forensics was a horror show. That girls father was in the courtroom the whole time and I will never know how he did it.
I was always amazed that there wasnt a lynching after only one got the death penalty.
