Moyes is Scottish. He isn’t a sexy enough hire for Chelsea. He would be a great fit for Arsenal given what he does with little to no financial backing.

What makes you think Liverpool would even be available?

But the rest are valid points. I can see someone like Chelsea taking a shot at him by offering him a boatload of cash. He’d be their first English manager in several years. It has to be frustrating to continue to threaten the top four slots and continue to be rewarded for that by management with a slash in the transfer budget.

Assuming Moyes wants to stay in England, what would be an upgrade for him at this point? Not City or Chelsea, where you risk being fired after a week of poor results. Liverpool is out of the question unless he’d be interested in getting drawn and quartered by a mob. The United and Arsenal jobs aren’t opening up until Fergie and Wenger retire/die. Tottenham is the only other team that has consistently finished above Everton during his time there.
