North Platte Community College’s girls basketball team, the Lady Knights, celebrated winning their district championship by attempting to douse their coach in Gatorade. Unfortunately, the girls could only manage to soak coach Richard Thurin from the waist down. While Thurin was attempting to dodge the Gatorade bath, he slipped and hit his head on the court. A worried fan then attempted to help the coach up, but slipped as soon as he stepped onto the court. Overall the situation got a little slippery but Thurin’s granddaughter confirmed through twitter that everyone is ok.
