Oladipo. Best player on the best team and should be the defensive player of the year for the country.

Sprite is delicious.

Turned off Adblock just to see what you guys were talking about. Oh my jesus.
Also weird to see how long the pages are with those sidebar ads and then the auto-play videos. New appreciation for you folks.

As much as I think Georgetown is garbage, they’re 24-5 in the Big East and if you take Porter off their team they probably win 15 games. Porter for POY. Also, Olynyk 17 & 7 in the WCC, Plumlee 17 & 10 in the ACC. Ben McLemore will be a top 5 pick, but Doug McDermott is clearly having a better season.

By the way: Walking Dead is firmly back in Farm mode.

I even use Chrome (which I’m not supposed to.) Maybe I’ll sneak ad block in today if this shit keeps up. Who the hell is running USA Today Sports that they think failed ad ideas from 2002 are kosher? Full screen pop up ads on every click. In 2013. Jarring.

A Georgetown v. Wisconsin tournament match up. Woof.
March 11th, 2013 at 10:46 AM
That is fucked up. Pop-up ads/banner ads, etc.. are garbage. Does anyone even look at them anymore?
March 11th, 2013 at 10:49 AM
Does All America mean great players on Tournament-bound teams or just the best players? If it’s the latter, no love for Erick Green from Virginia Tech? Yeah, the team is garbage (4-12 in the ACC) but he’s the first player since the 80s to lead the nation in scoring from one of the top 6 conferences and he’s doing it shooting 48% from the field.
/hokie homer

What about that Maryland center?
March 11th, 2013 at 10:50 AM
Bring back Surge.
March 11th, 2013 at 10:50 AM
I imagine it would resemble Bill Laimbeer Combat Basketball with someone winning 30-29…make it so, NCAA Tournament
March 11th, 2013 at 10:51 AM
CBB folks: Of the teams that will make the tournament, which are the most fun to watch re: actually scoring points?
March 11th, 2013 at 10:52 AM
That is fucked up.
You know what isn’t fucked up? Sprite.
March 11th, 2013 at 10:54 AM
Sprite is consistent national soda of the year. I know that’s not up for debate.
March 11th, 2013 at 10:58 AM
BREAKING
7-up ad is now under control. after you click on enough links (i think 5 for the day) you won’t see it anymore.
March 11th, 2013 at 10:58 AM
no love for the flavored sparkling waters? great flavor, no calories. all grocery stores, target have them. our kids only get soda at the movies, and these drinks are why
March 11th, 2013 at 10:59 AM
Not Michigan State.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:01 AM
which are the most fun to watch re: actually scoring points?
LIU Brooklyn

VCU can be pretty exciting to watch.

Does freshman of year go to Nerlens, especially when you consider just how far Kentucky fell when his knee went boom?
March 11th, 2013 at 11:05 AM
Belmont is going to be a lot of fun to watch. You know who scores a lot of points and is awful to watch? NC State. They really don’t care about playing any defense whatsoever.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:05 AM
I love me some Clearly Canadian. Haven’t seen them in a long time though.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:05 AM
Given the product you should’ve thrown in a fluid situation reference, that would have been gold.
Also don’t get how people who have IT departments that regulate programs can get away with surfing and dicking around on the internet, I’d be paranoid as shit (luckily I’m the only one at this company who knows how to use a computer).
March 11th, 2013 at 11:10 AM
Lisk’s team is better, but Zeller should be first team and Erick Green should be on there.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:12 AM
Sierra Mist
March 11th, 2013 at 11:13 AM
Too syrupy, always tastes like it’s flat.
Of the racially pure sodas, Sprite is by far the best.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:18 AM
a big hearty fuck you to the syracuse orange for becoming choking dogs the last 3 weeks
March 11th, 2013 at 11:18 AM
I don’t think I’ve ever had a Sierra Mist.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:19 AM
Mason Plumlee is a First Team All-American Flopper
March 11th, 2013 at 11:23 AM
So is a flaccid Greg Oden.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:24 AM
I Lol’ed.
Spirte is the surperior of the “pure” sodas. I cant remember the last time I had a 7up. Remember Crystal Pepsi?
March 11th, 2013 at 11:26 AM
How can the National Player of the Year be on the 5th best team in his conference? I’m starting to think the B1G is overrated anyways.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:28 AM
he’s his own team
March 11th, 2013 at 11:28 AM
No problems with both Jason’s lists. CBB really picked up at the end of the year
March 11th, 2013 at 11:29 AM
Remember Crystal Pepsi?
Remember Crystal Gravy?
/right now!
March 11th, 2013 at 11:29 AM
How can A-Rod win an MVP on a last place Rangers team? It’s not Burke’s fault that his teammates aren’t as good. I’d choose Oladipo or Olynyk anyways.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:31 AM
Spirte is the surperior of the “pure” sodas.
official soda of the AVN Awards Show
March 11th, 2013 at 11:31 AM
Olynyk
hard to tell against the comp
March 11th, 2013 at 11:38 AM
Vez,
I have a hard time penalizing someone because the rest of the conference is a dumpster fire (i.e. Isaiah Cannon for Murray State in the 2011-2012 season)
March 11th, 2013 at 11:39 AM
By being the best offensive player on the 2nd best offensive team in the country and the 10th best team overall.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:40 AM
How dare David Price win the Cy Young on a 3rd place team that didn’t make the playoffs!
March 11th, 2013 at 11:44 AM
oladipo is a guard. hard to believe i know.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:44 AM
Vez,

i don’t see it as penalizing him, but if you give it to a guy with worse competition, i do see it as penalizing the guys from the stronger conferences. it’s easier to argue for a B10 player getting POY than Olynyk
March 11th, 2013 at 11:44 AM
Mike Trout wasn’t even man enough to carry his team to the goddamn playoffs! Where’s the value in that?
March 11th, 2013 at 11:45 AM
Yeah enjoy Michigan basketball after the early exit in the tourney and he leaves for the NBA. Better pray that they don’t play a team that plays defense and can rebound.
March 11th, 2013 at 11:49 AM
All of which has nothing whatsoever to do with his POY candidacy
March 11th, 2013 at 11:51 AM
I remember crystal pepsi.
