Indiana Comes From Behind to Beat Michigan 72-71 and Claim Big 10 Title [Video]
Indiana 72, Michigan 71. Jordan Morgan’s last-second tip in hung on the rim but refused to fall, and the Hoosiers stunned the Wolverines with a late rally in the final minute.
Free throws lost it for Michigan. The Wolverines went just 1-of-4 from the foul line after grabbing a 70-66 lead, and Indiana’s rally was capped on a Cody Zeller (25 points, 10 rebounds) basket inside.
Trey Burke raced up court, but his wild layup missed, and Morgan’s tip unbelievably didn’t fall.
According to Dan Wetzel, after the game Indiana coach Tom Crean got into it with a Michigan assistant coach.
Tom Crean got into it twice postgame with a Michigan assistant. Wild scene here in Ann Arbor

Michigan’s best team in like 25 years finishes 5th in the B1G. Awesome.

what a great freakin’ game

I really hate what Burton did of jumping into the guy instead of straight at the hoop. Would rather leave it up to a ref making a huge call in that spot and do this left-handed flip thing instead of taking it to the rack?

Burke, not Burton.

Michigan can suck a dick. Cheatingest program this side of Bama and UK in the country. I hope Crean superkicked the jackass.

First time since ’93 Indiana wins the outright title. Unbelievable.

BTW, KenPom slurpers should be aware he has FLORIDA at the top of his ranking.

I used to crack baseless jokes on the state of Michigan. Just always thought of it as one giant smog filled factory. Saw a tourism commercial for it though, and brought it up a while ago on here. That place had some absolutely amazing looking landscapes and streams, and I will go there someday.

Just got home from the game. Great atmosphere. Place was rocking (at least for 39:58 of it) Missed FT’s were the obvious downfall, but the inability to stop IU’s inside game was worse. Matchups in the tournament will determine if this is a Sweet 16 or Final Four team. Got into Ashley’s for some beers beforehand as well.

Granted I’m biased, but it’s a beautiful state once you get out of the cities. More shoreline than any other state in America besides Alaska. All freshwater. I thing we’re something like fifth in the country in number of golf courses. Lakes and rivers everywhere. I like to kayak, so I have tons of options. I’m huge into fishing, but I’m pretty sure Vlad is.

That’s what surprised me about the commercial. I’ve never been there and just imagined factory after factory and half abandoned cities in between. Some of those places they were showing were worthy of any postcard. If I ever make it out that way for a trip, I’ll hit you and Vlad up for suggestions.

**FIXED**

From Detroit to Saginaw along I-75 that’s actually quite accurate.

Tried a google image search for a snapshot of that river they showed in the commercial to see if you knew the name of it but I couldn’t find one.

Mackinac island is the shit

Most likely northern lower peninsula or western upper peninsula. A Michigan pastime is to get a shitload of people and a shitload of beer. Go to a livery and rent canoes. Get drunk on the river while flipping each other out of the canoes. Livery picks you and their canoes up after four or five hours and drives you back to your cars. Good times.
