Deron Williams Hit 11 3-Pointers, Including 7 in the First Quarter Against Washington
Deron Williams was ridiculous last night, scoring 42 points on 24 field goal attempts against the hapless Washington Wizards. Williams connected on his first 7 3-pointers, all in the first quarter. Williams added two more 3′s in the second quarter to set an NBA record with 9 3′s in a half. He finished with 11 3-pointers on 16 attempts. He was also perfect from the free throw line – hitting all one of his attempts.

Even more ridiculous: Boomer Esiason was working that game on WFAN radio with Craig Carton – but they actually did a surprisingly fine job.
