First off, sportswriting has never paid well. There are a handful of well paid guys but journalism in general is a terrible career choice for those looking to maximize their income.

Second, if you think the massive profit bleacher report got in their 2nd purchase went to the writers, you are stupid. Many early investors and tech guys pocketed 98% of that. Like hey we got bought out, all the writers are getting 20k, go use it on a down payment on a benz.

Hacks got a new updated mousepad and maybe a paperweight. Dont kid yourself.

This is my last year for Hawks season tickets.

I bought into the Cubs season tickets for this coming baseball season. Trying to get in early so that once they right the ship in a couple years I can start making money off those. The wait list finally opened up and I pounced on it.

Agreed that the Heat run is more impressive because you dont get to lose in overtime and somehow not call it a loss.

At first I assumed this was a trolling comment poking fun at others who have said similar silly things. But in case it’s not, you’re wrong. This IS called a loss. Also, the Hawks haven’t lost in OT, they’ve lost in 3 SO’s. But still, they have 3 losses.

You may all now go back to your regularly-scheduled…whatever it is you’re doing.
