Another thought. If Joeckel is the class of the draft, perhaps KC wants to create the perception that they are prepared to take him at No. 1 in the hope that someone will make a decent offer to trade up.

Arguably, one of Andy Reid’s best personnel moves involved bringing in Jon Runyan to solidify the offensive line in Philly. So, Big Red drafting a guy like Joeckel would not be out of the question or against type.

I’ll fight you on Turley. Dude was a stud who was done in by injuries. He also eventually moved to LT after Roaf left N.O., although he did move back to RT in St. Louis since Pace was at LT.

He also tore off a Jets player’s head in a game.

And now he’s a country singer.

He was a 2 or 3-star QB recruit when he signed with OU, and he’ll most likely be a top-15 pick as a LT. Crazy.

I think I watched more child labor football than ever this past year but yet am even more in the dark about the top 10 players.

I watched Utah play USC. That’s the only bit of the DT I got to see. Joeckel is legit, but I think Milliner is overrated. Not saying he’s not good, but I don’t think he’s top-5 pick good like many are saying. It just seemed (and I don’t have stats on this so I could be wrong) that teams challenged him too often for him to be so good.

So Joeckel, Fisher and the OU dude (Lane Johnson?) will all most likely go in the top 10, right? If the first one comes off of the board at 1, I can’t see teams not trading up inside the top-10 to land the other 2. Am I way off here?
