Steve Spurrier Shirtless at Spring Practice [UPDATE]
All, College Football March 6th. 2013, 1:50pm
Steve Spurrier shirtless at South Carolina’s Spring practice has become an annual photo-op for the HBC – here’s Spurrier shirtless last season. The only thing missing this year is the bucket visor and the Coors.
Update: Spurrier was in a blue visor and a shirt on first day of 2013 Spring practice.

alright boys, what we gonna do today?
/practice golf swing
this clowney kid we got? he’s sort of an old testament guy, an eye for an eye, ya hyah? spear our guy in the ear hole and we think we’re supposed to be able to spear you in the ear hole. that’s how we’re a little different, that’s how i coach em up. click clack.

Personally, I don’t pay attention to the groundhog. Sign of spring in the South is Spurrier shirtless. Somewhere, Ric Flair is envious of that 70 year old body.
March 6th, 2013 at 1:54 PM
Can’t wait for OBC to body slam Richt.
March 6th, 2013 at 1:55 PM
richt? he beat those indians over at GT yet? i aint seen pleats like richt’s got on his dockers since…weurrfel, where’d i see them pleats again?
March 6th, 2013 at 1:56 PM
Boy, Flair went south quicker than anyone I have ever seen.

Also, Dorothy Hamill is going to be on Dancing With The Stars. I will be very interested in how she has held up. There was a day when I dont think anyone, even on this site, would have ragged on her.
March 6th, 2013 at 1:58 PM
I don’t think that is from this year, considering how cold it is in Columbia lately.

sad that he insisted on wearing the tiny trunks, at least hogan had the decency to don a pair of pants and hike them up over the belly.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:00 PM
And yet we’ve got that weirdo in Lubbock trying to brand Kliff Kingsbury ala HBC. This is 100% all natural, marketing department NOT approved.

Looks pretty good for 67, going on 68
/no coop’d
March 6th, 2013 at 2:05 PM
Anyone ever see those cryogenics(?) adds/commercials with the old looking bald guy that’s in his 70′s that’s absolutely yolked? Spurrier needs to do that.

“Obama doesn’t compromise, it’s his fault too”
Wilfully daft cunt, Obama’s only used the veto twice, as little as a president who only lasted 26 days. So take that Aunt Sally you swine.

Bielema something something.

Jebus was she a fap-inducing machine in 1976.

I don’t think Bush 43 used his veto power once until after Democrats took control of Congress in 2007.

He did plenty of that last year. Yikes. I think I’ll be in Athens for that one. Can’t wait.

If you squint, it looks like he has a sad face on his torso.

South Carolina will be stacked on the DL (I don’t care if they lost every player other than Clowney, he makes that line stacked). They will be without their LBs and Safeties from a year ago (safeties were good). Take a step back at RB. WR should be as good as last year, even with Ace leaving. With the game being in Athens I want to take UGA, but until Richt beats Spurrier I can’t pick against the HBC in that matchup. Of course we’ll be flying high after curb stomping* Clemson the week prior though.
* 51-45 counts, right?

So, a post is dedicated to a year-old pic? Ok.
Love any Gamecock-related post, but this is pretty lame.
In any event, it’s in the 50s in Columbia this week…he’ll be wearing a shirt.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:42 PM
i saw UPDATE and figured photoshop
spurrier’s been watching what he’s fed and chasing skirt
March 6th, 2013 at 2:44 PM
Yes it does.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:46 PM
Dammit will someone please bring Ronny back
March 6th, 2013 at 2:46 PM
Other than Clowney this is all you’re getting SoCar-related from this site. You have to know that. You should have jumped in and turned this into a great CFB discussion.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:47 PM
ohio state > south carolina
/has self-satisfied, smug look on face
March 6th, 2013 at 2:49 PM
Dorothy Hamill
Jebus was she a fap-inducing machine in 1976.
And all you homos were sportin’ her haircut when you were riding your big wheels.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:50 PM
He’s in better shape than most men his age.
And maybe better than most commenters.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:51 PM
I think SoCar had the best defense in the SEC last year (yes, better than Bama). I know that might be crazy, but I think it’s true. Thankfully they lose a lot this year and they lose their heart and soul in Lattimore. Clowney scares the fuck out of me, but SoCar will take a step back in 2013.
/I think they beat Ohio State at home, though.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:52 PM
in all honesty, id agree…i think OSU wont be properly seasoned until 2014.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:52 PM
Any NFL draftniks up in here? Will Devin Taylor (DL opposite of Clowney the past two years) be available in the last part of the third round? I’d love ATL to grab him. Dude is a freak.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:54 PM
i think he probably will, but that’s just going by walter football/mocking the draft/etc.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:54 PM
spencer, if you’re bored, some guy has uploaded a ton of Masters final rounds. I’m watching 2009 right now, Phil’s missed eagle putt at 15 still kills me
March 6th, 2013 at 2:55 PM
Players I can’t wait to see next year:
Ohio State’s entire DL…can they stop the run?
Josh Harvey Clemons…does he have a position?
Kenny Bell…best WR NEB has had in sooooo long
Free Shoe QB with the stupid name…supposedly a really good QB
Blake Bell starting at QB…can he actually throw the ball?
March 6th, 2013 at 2:55 PM
The Falcons have to keep up their Gamecock quota, since they just released two this week, so it would be a no-brainer to draft Taylor.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:56 PM

March 6th, 2013 at 2:57 PM
One of those dude’s who was cut was a total waste of space. The other was 31. It made sense.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:57 PM

**BREAKING**
Ravens win the Superbowl, Flacco is MVP
March 6th, 2013 at 2:57 PM
without hankins and simon on that DL? and only shazier with any legit LB experience? i wanna give the young’n's and urban the benefit of the doubt, but we’ll need to see it. fortunately, the offense is a clock killing machine, even with the hurry-up/no huddle.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:58 PM
that’s solid humor right there.
March 6th, 2013 at 2:59 PM

mother of god. 5 hours of masters highlights?!?!?
March 6th, 2013 at 3:00 PM
I’ll be honest…I want Ohio State in the B10 title against NEB. I think the Huskers can walk down the field on them. Of course they’ll give up 60, but it would be a fun game to watch. It’s too bad Pelini forgot how to coach defense, because his offense is going to be awesome in 2013.

NEB defense will be more talented this year but lacks experience, gonna be interesting
March 6th, 2013 at 3:04 PM
Last year’s experience did so much for them.

D-line could be a dumpster fire…
March 6th, 2013 at 3:08 PM
Yup. How Pelini can’t recruit solid DTs and good DEs is a god-damn mystery. So frustrating.
March 6th, 2013 at 3:08 PM
I wasn’t quibbling with it. I agree that the moves made sense. They still have Cliff Matthews and Travian Robertson, so the Gamecock connection is still strong.
March 6th, 2013 at 3:18 PM
So Taylor Martinez transferred out of Lincoln in the offseason?
March 6th, 2013 at 3:20 PM
He was legit last year. Go back and check the numbers. He will be even better in 2013.
March 6th, 2013 at 3:23 PM
Obama doesn’t have to veto with the Dems controlling the Senate.
How about a tally of executive orders?

purdue matt, all that matters is body count
March 6th, 2013 at 3:34 PM
Actually, for a guy whose team has Rapelisberger Jr. behind center, I should just shut my mouth about this.
March 6th, 2013 at 4:53 PM
yea, taylor martinez might not have been able to throw a fucking lick, but that dude could play some footbaw. no joke.
also, obligatory 1 and 2.
