Joe Flacco Celebrated His New $120.6 Million Dollar Contract with Chicken Nuggets at McDonald’s Drive-Thru
Joe Flacco is known for his cannon arm, boring personality, Super Bowl ring, and $120 million contract. Did you also know he had an affinity for fast food? Flacco celebrated his new ridiculous contract by rolling through McDonald’s and ordering some chicken nuggets.
“I kept saying to the people I work with, ‘Doesn’t that look like Joe Flacco?,’ ” Sherry Norman said. “And then he turned towards the window and it was him.”
I’m not positive, but I believe Tom Brady celebrated his lucrative deal last week with a trip to Wendy’s (Baconator, of course). My guess is Dwight Howard will hit Burger King this summer when he signs his next contract.
I doubt either of them will stare at their money like Flacco, though.

After McDonald’s, Flacco headed over to SuperCuts and had them do a little yardwork on the ol’ unibrow.

This signing still blows me away. Queefer, help me understand.
I do like some McNuggets, though. Processed, pressed chicken parts – yay!

They key is to remember that the totals being reported only serve the agent when he’s trying to show off his skills to potential new clients…if he reverts to being Joe Flacco they’re not on the hook for even half of it

I celebrate not making bad decisions at 3 am after a night out in Nashville with chicken nuggets. They’re good, not great

Exactly. This contract amounts to a whole lot of fluff. And several Flacco deadpans.

With their affinity for horsemeat, BK should lock up Katherine Webb in an endorsement deal ASAP.

I was to understand that only Tom Brady cares about such things

Cowboy, your work (as always) is thorough and insightful. However, even three years, $62M seems like an awful lot for Flacco.
Put it like this: if the Ravens still win the SB, but Flacco has an average day statwise, is he even worth the $62M?
IMO, it’s an “afterglow” signing. The team won, he had a pretty good year, he’s the QB, so he gets the lion’s share of the credit. He needs to cut Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith and Ray Rice big checks, right away.

Narrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrative
March 5th, 2013 at 10:44 AM
This is correct.

It’s a very cap friendly 62 million though, and honestly he had one hell of a playoff run. I’m sure that number is lower if the 49ers can run a competent goalline offense when it matters, but again consider Sanchez’s contract, this one really is pretty team friendly.

Can’t be much worse than his rookie deal
March 5th, 2013 at 10:46 AM
Dude won a SB throwing like 10+ TDS and no INTS and has a ridiculous playoff record. He’s earned that guaranteed money.
March 5th, 2013 at 10:46 AM
He needs to give half of it to Anquan Boldin for catching 27 jumps balls while draped by DBs.

If the Chargers get that stop, maybe all this is different.

I’m very, very late to the refi conversation earlier, but I have to ask…. I currently have a 30 year fixed at 4.25%. Ive always heard it’s not wortrh refinancing unless you drop a full point. Is this true, and what are the current refi rates? Yes, I’m a dumbass, so just answer the question if you know.

Really dont trust this guy since he shaved that caterpillar off his face. You’ve changed Joe.
March 5th, 2013 at 11:01 AM
that is what I have always heard as well. I did a re-fi with a HARP back late last summer and dropped it about 1.5% points. if you are at 4.25% you will have a tough time getting a full point below that IMO.

Steward Cink filled the Claret Jug with BBQ sauce and his career has blown ass ever since. Drink some Guiness out of it sure, but have some fucking self resepct you lucky hack.
March 5th, 2013 at 11:03 AM
There are refi breakeven calculators around if you want to check them out. They’re mostly accurate in my experience. I just closed on a refi through HARP last week, and went from 6.125 to 3.5 APR. Made a huge difference to me. Lower payment on a shorter term.

Dude had a hell of a run last playoffs, but there’s no way he repeats that success. Maybe he’ll make a Pro Bowl one day, though.
March 5th, 2013 at 11:04 AM
funny you call him lucky…flippin like this? lucky indeed. never was much of a cink fan.
