I like how the third ref didn’t get the memo in reffing school to get the fuck out of the gym as quickly as possible once a controversial game ending decision has been made.

The Mt. Vernon people who were there said it was good. The backboard light went off a split second before the clock ran out, and that is what threw off the ref who initially waved it off. The last time they didn’t make it to States was by getting beat by a buzzer beater against Newburgh Academy.

Liquor you think? I thought it was good, what’s amazing is the Mount Vernon player catches the inbound pass and flippantly throws it up and the New Rochelle player grabs it and chucks it in. Why not catch it and hold on? They would have to foul you no doubt or the clock would run out.
