Vancouver Canucks Will Wear Tremendous Jerseys from 1915
The Vancouver Canucks will wear replica jerseys of the 1915 Vancouver Millionaires for a home contest against Detroit on March 16. Not to editorialize, but they look awesome.
The Millionaires played in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association from 1912-1922 and won the Stanley Cup in 1915. Led by a guy named Cyclone Taylor, they probably couldn’t fathom that players would one day actually make millions of dollars.

Me: Mom, why didn’t you name me Cyclone Taylor?
Mom: Because our last name isn’t Taylor, and Cyclone’s a stupid name.
Me: Aaaaaaaaaand?

Wasn’t there a baseball player whose actual name was Catfish Hunter or something similar? You just don’t see names like that anymore. Catfish. Honus. Cyclone. Maximillian (actually knew one in school).

Always forget about google. Not his real name. Nickname. Either way. Dumbass name.

Baseball nicknames were always the goofiest.
I like that Vancouver uni. Maybe not for all year, but for a one-off it works.

Shit back then he was probably a 7 dollar and 45 centanaire. And motherfucker was straight BALLIN with that 7 dollars and 45 cents.

nice throwback. would totally pick one up, but I bet it retails for over $100.

This is about when I start paying attention to CBB. Like most. Miami looks way better than Duke to me. You take Kelly’s out of body experience first half and this would be another route.

rout. Shit.

I got some nice jerseys at a flea market in Jersey for 40 bucks. No question they were either counterfeit or stolen but my level of caring did not register on the scale. If they’re fake, they’re really nice fakes, and if they’re stolen, well….I didn’t steal them. Although I did get them at a steal.

BTW, I doubt many of you guys has seen much of Tennessee this year but they have a player named Jordan McRae who is on a run the last 8 games or so that is eyepopping.
Despite UT’s choke job today, he wasnt the reason for it. Get familiar with him as he’s a player.

Les Miles….

what about him, Vlad?
March 2nd, 2013 at 9:46 PM
Like most every other coach, he likes himself some co-ed.
//Hopes it’s true and he comes back to Michigan in a coordinator role in 2014.
March 2nd, 2013 at 10:17 PM
FWIW highly unlikely it’s true and he’ll be watching Michigan kick ass in 2014 from Baton Rouge.
March 2nd, 2013 at 10:22 PM
That’s rich. I hope it’s not true. I wouldn’t want Les Miles in Ann Arbor. Brady Hoke forever please.

Les Miles in an assistant coach/head recruiter role would be awesome.
