People may hate Pitino,,but for,some reason I like him. He is what he is. He’s a college basketball coach and he will do whatever to win, period. Just like Saban. You don’t get to the top without stepping on some people and pissing them off.

I thought that myself. And also, if your kids got invited to Louisville, chances are you wouldn’t actually be sending them there in the normal sense that others send their kids to college. They’d probably be on a sports scholarship, and getting that education and possible trip to NBA fo’ FREE!

Swearing is one thing, yelling at them to wake the fuck up is another, but no that isn’t something that would keep me away from a program. It’s him having sex with a woman not his wife in a restaurant booth that i’d have the biggest issue with. I wouldn’t want his version of morality molding my kid.

but yeah, i’d expect a little more composure from my son’s coach. possibly offer up some sort of guidance or of course, coaching, versus a berating. ive heard people sometimes dont respond to that. russdiculous is another case though.

Anyone who THINKS there kid is going to get a coach who doesn’t swear is either not involved in sports or very naive. I have had numerous coaches in the past and there was not ONE who did not swear from time to time AND direct it at the players. Look at any of the present day coaches and tell me ONE (just one) who has never ever cussed during a game, practice, or news conference. White Frank – good luck with the composure thing.
