Philadelphia’s District Attorney Dutifully Offers to Investigate Andrew Bynum for Fraud
Andrew Bynum hasn’t played a single minute for the Philadelphia 76ers. He has, however, succeeded in uniting the entire city in hatred.
After he told reporters Friday that it was a possibility he wouldn’t take the court at all this season, Philadelphia’s district attorney, Seth Williams, offered to launch an investigation against the injury-riddled big man.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Andrew Bynum has experienced some swelling in the knee since practice last Friday.

@jmitchinquirer how much is he getting paid?Do I need to launch a grand jury investigation? — Seth Williams (@DASethWilliams) March 1, 2013
@sheridanscribe @jmitchinquirer it could be fraud, theft of services or robbery.Fans and ticket buyers need to know. 10-9-8-76ers! — Seth Williams (@DASethWilliams) March 1, 2013
Bynum did say he intends on supporting the team in a cheerleading role, which is probably little consolation to the organization or its fans in light of the hefty paycheck he’s earning.

Bynum wasn’t going to be that big of a difference this year anyway.
