Kansas trailed unranked West Virginia early in the first half, but 19 points from Ben McLemore helped give the Jayhawks a 45-31 halftime lead at home. His final points of the half came on this baseline dunk that made announcer Kevin Harlan raise his voice while the Mountaineers just stood around and watched. McLemore was 5-7 from the field, 2-3 from three and 7-9 from the free throw line.
