Stephen Curry Scored 54 Points Against the Knicks and Left Draymond Green Hanging on This High Five [VIDEO]

Stephen Curry just did this to the Knicks at MSG: 54 points on 18-of-28 shooting, including a blistering 11-of-13 from deep. He also had seven assists and collected six rebounds. The Warriors fell apart late – Jarrett Jack made some silly mistakes, Klay Thompson missed a couple shots – and the Knicks won, 109-105.
Curry is the first NBA player to drop half a hundred at MSG since LeBron did it in 2009.
Curry scored 38 last night in Indiana (and crossed up George Hill), but 54 is a career high.
Somehow, Steph Curry was not an All-Star.

Light ‘em up. Just saw some highlights. His release is too quick.
Doin’ it in the Mecca? No bigger stage in the Association.

I was trying to determine how close Curry was to Green with the cold shoulder, seeing if it was possible he just had tunnel vision. No way. Looks like they almost brushed. Cold as ice!!

Draymond Green handled that pretty well. He should have kicked the crap out of him.

So the awfulness of Ray Felton continues. Literally one of the worst starters in the league.

???

Yeah that block on Curry at the end and then stealing the inbounds pass were truly awful plays. He’s in a shooting slump, it’ll pass.

Felton? Lol he’s baaad. Can’t guard a lamp post on defense and an erratic chucker on offense. It won’t pass – that’s what he’s been his entire career.

knifeyspoony has a cob up his ass.
Anyway, watching The Cookout on VH1.
Might I suggest Megan Good as a Round Up candidate?

Great job on the block at the end of allowing someone to score 54 points!
February 27th, 2013 at 11:56 PM
Well, thank goodness he didn’t allow him to score 57 points with that big time block.

TOP 5

Stop it, Steph had 6 different defenders on him and lit them all up. He wasn’t gonna be stopped.
Ray has struggled shooting since coming back from the broken finger, but he was pretty good in Nov/Dec. He’s nowhere near a top PG but he doesn’t turn it over and can run the pick and roll.
February 28th, 2013 at 12:16 AM
If I remember correctly, I read that the finger still is in a fragile state, and if it’s broken again, his season is over.

Felton has been getting lit up by PGs all year. This is not anything new. And no, he was struggling all of December too, before the injury. He’s the biggest reason why the Knicks offense bogs down – maddeningly indecisive and an inability to push the ball.

The entire team seems fragile at this point, and Kidd fell off a cliff real fast.
February 28th, 2013 at 12:22 AM
We have been watching different Knicks games this season.
February 28th, 2013 at 12:26 AM
Thing is Felton is their only guard that can dribble drive (except for JR on the rare occasions when he decides not to take contested jumpers). Their offense was an iso-fest when he was out.
February 28th, 2013 at 12:30 AM
Kidd has played too many minutes, Prigioni is a capable but unwilling shooter, Chandler needs help off the bench, which hopefully Martin can help and fill the void left by Rasheed. Teams are chasing Novak off the 3 point line this year. The Knicks will go on a similar to last year run in the middle of March and close out the season. They’ll be fine.

Really? You think he’s playing well?
February 28th, 2013 at 12:39 AM
The way they played at the beginning definitely keeps me somewhat optimistic. I do think they’ve eased off the gas pedal, since they blatantly take some quarters and even entire games off defensively. Hopefully Shumpert rounds into form and they stay healthy.

I jacked that up
February 28th, 2013 at 12:46 AM
He was +11 tonight! Of course, Curry was -4 since he played all 48, but still!

they’re descent began when he became injured. Chandler’s scoring numbers went down when Felton was out, and have climbed again since his return. He has had some big games scoring wise that have led the Knicks to victory, including the second 20 point win against the Heat. There are two primary ways the Knicks score, either off of Melo double teams, or off of Felton setting up everyone else. He has done a very good job of that this year. I think he is more injured than the Knicks are letting on.

Just saw the highlights on ESPN. WOW.
Tyson Chandler had 28 rebounds FWIW.
