LeBron Pregame Warmup Dunk Wows Again, and He’s Just Teasing Us Now
LeBron effortlessly pulled off another sweet dunk in pregame warmups Tuesday before the Heat beat the Kings, and the crowd loved it. While his pre-game dunk Sunday was much more impressive, LeBron’s head is level with the rim here and there’s no question this would be one of his ‘backup’ dunks that gets a 49 from those soft judges on All-Star weekend.
As for the overtime win over the Kings … 40 points (14-of-23 shooting), 16 assists, eight rebounds and just one foul in 47 minutes. Ho-hum.

How do you know the Lakers didn’t play last night: they weren’t the Highlight Of The Night

His head is clearly not at rim-level. Why must we inflate these dunks so? Just call them what they are; they’ll stand on their own merits without you having to deliberately claim something they’re not. Head at backboard height? Sure.

What percentage of NBA fans actually care whether LeBron is in the dunk contest, or even care whether the dunk contest exists?

So Lebron doing the same dunks somebody else has already done equates to a need for him to be in the dunk contest? Have you been to a high bball game with big athletes playing in it lately? It looks just like this before the refs come out.

Yeah not exactly sure what the obsession with having Lebron in the dunk contest is. Blake was in a couple of years ago and all he did was jump over a shitty car, which wasn’t even that impressive .
At this point, the dunk contest is what it is.

I want Lebron in the dunk contest dunking over a monster truck. Is that too much to ask?

Every year, NBA takes a week long break in February for something called “All-Star weekend”. There are celebrity games and a skills contest. Dunk contest is part of the festivity. Along with 3 point shooting and point guards dribbling a ball thru a maze. The week culminates with the all-star game on sunday.
Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul are some of the star of this basketball league called the NBA.

If the superstars executed the dunks the actual contest participants executed this year, the media and other people would be falling all over themselves.
