Oscar Pistorius’ Brother Carl Faces Murder Charges
The Oscar Pistorius saga took another unbelievable turn last night with the revelation his brother is also facing a culpable murder charge for a fatal road collision with a motorcyclist in 2010.
Under South African law, culpable homicide can refer to intentional killings or assaults or “negligent conduct resulting in reasonably foreseeable death,” according to the country’s Supreme Court of Appeal.
Prosecutors say Carl Pistorius was driving recklessly in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, when he crashed with the motorcyclist in the daytime.
The charge was confirmed by Pistorius family attorney Kenny Oldwage, who disputes the allegations.
Carl was scheduled to go on trial Thursday but requested a delay so he could support his brother. The court granted him his wish and rescheduled the trial for March.

Nice job. A Bleacher Report story to start the day. Gotta fool Google analytics as soon as we can, right? Why is it an “unbelievable” turn that his brother was in a car crash? This post needs a few .gifs. Not douchetastic enough quite yet.
