As to comparing Missouri to Iowa, I prefer to look at Sagarin rather than RPI. Yes, Missouri has a better resume at this point. But you are comparing 17 v. 33 in the Sagarin predictor rankings.

And if you think I am a shill for the B10, then you are sadly mistaken. Most years, they are vastly over rated. This year, however, I have not seen a deeper league. That being said, it would not shock me if the league shit the bed when it comes to tournament time (I have come to expect as much).

I think when the Big East shakes out Louisville is going to be a 2 and Syracuse, Georgetown, and Marquette will be battling for the 3 line. Unless Cuse of Gtown sweeps against each other Louisville looks like they are going to win the regular season title. Just look at their remaining sked.

Mizzou 19-7; 1-2 v. top 25 and 5-4 v. top 50
Iowa 17-9; 2-6 v. top 25 and 3-7 v. top 50 (meaning they beat the only team they faced from 26-50)
Mizzou has a slightly better resume, but it is not overwhelming.

Ease up there. Lets step away from the RPI fellating Big Ten. Iowa played one of the WORST out of conference schedules in basketball. The rank? 324th hardest in the nation.

Mizzou? 93rd…Nevermind the fact that they played a portion of the season without one of their best players…AND crushed the precious Big Ten nectar known as Illinois
