If you plan on using an iPad/phone via hdmi, I'm pretty sure it need to be jailbroken (and unrestrictpremium needs to be installed) to work now.

Really thinking about the mlb package. Seems like a no-brainer

getting around the black out restrictions is the only thing I am a little concerned about, but I’ve been pointed towards a few options. they are getting rid of it next year though.
