Best Dunk in NC State History – Damon Thornton or Gavin Grant?
The ACC Digital Network is hosting Dunkuary, a month-long competition designed to get fans from all 12 ACC schools to vote for the best dunk in the ACC’s 60-year history.
N.C. State’s first dunk features Damon Thornton (2000) getting a great inbounds pass and finishing with a huge dunk over the Maryland defender.
The second throw down stars Gavin Grant (2007), who slams home a reverse windmill dunk against rival UNC.

Didn’t Lorenzo Charles dunk win some poll for greatest play in NCAA history? Makes sense that it wouldn’t be the best dunk in NC State history, though

I see that everyone else has beaten me to the Lorenzo Charles comment. Come on, “Tom Fink.”

So has the ACC Digital Network fired someone from their marketing department yet?

You are correct, no doubt. However, this dunkuary thing looks like they are limiting it ACC games.

You know what’s odd…after the NCAA restored dunking to the college game, they still for a while made it illegal to dunk in warmups.
