Awesome. My two cents: Bass are much better fish but they tend to produce more waste and would be more labor intensive than the tilapia.

I’m going to start out with a green house and two grow beds. The fish tank will be 500 gallon.

I have 1 pig, chickens, and would like to get some more goats and one lamb.

Starkweather: I posted this in the other thread but I’ll just it here for consistency.

I will be using the aquaponics method. It is a closed loop system. Besides feeding the fish and eating them, there shouldn’t be too much interaction with them. Look.up Murray Hallam on youtube. He is the best.

Anyone looking into having a backyard vegetable garden should look this guy up. Very informative. Plus, after a couple of weeks you can eat the fish!
